Evidence review · Keep the source with the answer

Check what a photograph or document actually answers

Receiving a photograph is useful progress, but it is not the same as confirming a configuration, condition, included item or delivery arrangement.

Practical notes · questions before assumptions

Red and yellow seed drill with multiple delivery tubes and soil-working parts
Seed-drill reference photograph. It does not establish seed suitability, row settings, output, condition or the specification of an offered unit.

Use three separate columns

For each important question, record what is visible, what someone has expressly stated and what remains unanswered. A visible component is an observation; a performance or inclusion promise requires a clear source.

Record Example of the distinction
Visible A hopper or delivery tube can be seen in the supplied image.
Stated A named supplier document describes a particular configuration.
Unconfirmed The image alone does not establish settings, output or suitability.

Keep enough context to identify the material

Record who supplied the material, when it was received and which equipment it is intended to describe. Keep a document title or version where available. Do not treat an undated image from another listing as proof of the unit being discussed.

Look for unanswered parts of your own brief

Return to your work and access notes. Does the supplied information answer the question that was asked, or does it only show another general view? Ask for the missing written clarification instead of filling the gap from a similar-looking picture.

Keep sensitive material out of a first enquiry

A first equipment question should not need identity documents, bank statements or private financial records. Ask how any later necessary material would be handled before sharing it. This guide stores no document upload or online case file.

One clear question is a useful next step.
